1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, application user identifier, account type, account creation date, and authentication information needed to secure and operate your account. Authentication credentials are processed by our authentication system.
Training and certificate information
We store course sections you complete, quiz results, completion dates, and certificate identifiers so that your progress and certificates remain available across sessions.
Safety-assistant content
When you choose to use the AI safety assistant, we process your question, selected language, and up to six recent messages from that assistant session to generate an answer. Do not submit confidential, personal, medical, or employer-sensitive information to the assistant.
Local preferences
Favorites, language selection, login preference, and the local notification setting may be stored on your device.
Technical information
Our service providers may process technical information such as IP address, user agent, device or application identifiers, request metadata, and security logs to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
2. How we use information
- create, authenticate, secure, and support your account;
- provide courses, scenarios, safety resources, quizzes, progress tracking, and certificates;
- generate responses requested through the AI safety assistant;
- maintain service security, prevent fraud or abuse, diagnose failures, and enforce our terms;
- respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests; and
- comply with applicable law and protect users, the public, and our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.
3. Technology and infrastructure
We use the following systems to operate WeOHS:
- Authentication and database systems to secure accounts and store application data. These systems may process email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, and user agents for authentication, security, and abuse prevention.
- AI model to generate safety-assistant responses. Inputs and outputs are processed to provide the requested response and may be retained temporarily in security logs for abuse prevention or where required by law.
- Hosting infrastructure to deliver application content, media, APIs, and these public pages.
These systems may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
4. Retention
We retain account, profile, progress, and certificate information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Local preferences remain on your device until removed by you, cleared by the operating system, or deleted with the app. Safety-assistant content is processed to answer your request and may be retained temporarily in provider security logs as described above.
5. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to processing of, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Requests may require reasonable identity verification.
To request complete account deletion, follow the instructions on our Account Deletion page. Deletion covers the authentication account and associated profile, progress, quiz, and certificate records unless retention is legally required.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access and encrypted network transmission. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
WeOHS is intended for workplace learners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. International use
WeOHS is operated from the United Arab Emirates and uses global service providers. Information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
